Teen & Tween Access To Pornography: Parts 1 and 2 From Local 12 TV

Over the past 12 years, I have seen the evolution of social media – and the downward trend of younger and younger kids having access to technology.

A Wired Family started over 12 years ago, following the death by suicide of a young woman who had been bullied at school for sexting. At that time, only about 10% of teenagers had been involved in sexting. Today, that number has risen to 35%.

However, an even more disturbing trend had emerged as both teens and tweens are gaining access to pornography on their smartphones, tablets, and laptops.

Local12 In Cincinnati recently produced a 2-part program on this trend. A Wired Family is proud to have played a role in the interview. Below are part 1 and part 2.
