NOTE: This video was recorded prior to the IOS 12.0 release. As such, many of the procedures mentioned will only work for earlier versions of IOS. We will be providing a revised video in the near future.

Also, if you followed the suggestions in this video before upgrading to IOS 12 or IOS 12.1, your parental controls will be deleted. However, the new IOS offers even better controls. You can learn more by following this link.

As adults, we buy these digital devices for our kids and after the fact — wonder how to manage and monitor what your child is doing. Although there are great tools available for purchase, there are actually excellent free tools built into the devices themselves. Today we’ll look at managing your child’s iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.

To discover more about your child’s use of technology, and how you can help guide them through digital life, please consider ordering our book. All proceeds go to future research that supports our mission to educate families on their child’s digital tattoo.
